Hey there! I am a UX / UI / Product Designer. Currently relocating to Southern California, I am exploring roles at mid-size and large organizations.

I bring a creative, collaborative mindset to challenges and am continuously refining my skills as an innovative problem-solver. In creating engaging digital products, I get to learn from users about their needs and frustrations, iterate possible solutions to problems, and connect with teammates and stakeholders about how to bring beautiful, functional products to life.

Through my work at Flatiron School, I have developed skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, using data to inform design, and using design tools such as Figma. My past projects demonstrate my ability to learn from user testing, bring something from a rough concept to a high-fidelity prototype, and design with a focus on solving true user needs (as opposed to assumptions of user needs).

I also bring critical soft skills to my work as a designer. My background as a former elementary school teacher, political communications professional, and small business manager has fostered my emotional intelligence, adaptability, and strategic communication. I am inspired by designers like Georgia Lupi who find innovative ways to make complex data resonant and accessible. Ultimately, products should be easy and delightful to use for all users, regardless of age, disability, or language.

I aim to create digital designs that are not just functional and straightforward but compelling and enjoyable. With my creativity, technical skills, and commitment to meeting user needs, I look forward to my continued work in creating elegant, functional user experiences.
